GULF STEEL INDUSTRIES CO. LTD (GSIC) was incorporated in 1992 at Mussafah Industrial Area in Abu Dhabi to set up a Steel Rolling Mill. It came in to stream originally to produce Deformed Steel Bars with a capacity of 15,000 TPA. With continuous technical enhancement and expansions, GSIC is now capable of producing 120,000 TPA of debars, 36,000 TPA of Cold Ribbed Bars in coils and cut to lengths and 30,000 TPA of Welded Mesh.

GSIC is 9001:2000 certified and through the years it is committed to customer service and continuous quality improvement.

GSIC has the following major facilities

• 2 Nos Semi Automatic Rolling Mill with Water Quenching, Automatic Cooling Bed and Material Handling Systems.
• 2 Nos of Cold Ribbing Lines.
• 2 Nos of state of art Straightening and Cutting lines.
• Automatic Weld Mesh Plant.· Fully equipped testing Lab

Product Features

• Hot Rolled Deformed Steel Bars from 8mm to 32mm diameter in accordance to BS4449 grade 460 B/250, ASTM A 615 Grade 60/40 and SASO Standards.
• Cold Rolled Steel Bars from 4mm to 10 mm diameter in accordance with BS 4482.
• Hot Rolled Plain or red colour Steel Bars from 16mm to 32mm diameter in accordance to ASTM A36.
• Welded Mesh in accordance with BS 4483 (nominal wire diameter from 5mm to 10mm).
• Square Bars from 12mm to 25mm.

Quality Control

The physical and metallurgical properties are continuously monitored and also tested by independent third party laboratories to ensure unbiased quality control.
