Gulf Environmental Company LLC (GENCO) was established in the year 2003 at Habshan about 170 kms from the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, mainly for the treatment of Oily Sludge/Drill Cutting Material generated by Drilling Operations. This company is division of Al Nasser Industrial Enterprises- A leading group of companies in the UAE onto diversified activities of manufacturing Steel, Transformers, Polyethylene Tanks & Trading. It has a fully equipped lab on site to test the required parameters and to ensure that they are well with in the environmental specifications. It boasts processes at an average of 2500 tons of Drill Cuttings to proper Environmental specifications per month.

GENCO has been awarded with the contract from Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Operations- ADCO to treat the Drill Cuttings generated by them during their Drilling operations.

Objective

An ever-increasing environmental protection laws are being mandated throughout the world by the oil producing countries designed to protect the immediate environments surrounding the oil and gas exploration drilling platforms. GENCO's systems have proved to be an effective technology for decontamination of the cuttings while recovering the oil content for reuse or disposal.
